What a night. The pictures don’t do justice. I met Slug for the first time and hands down the funniest dude I’ve met. I saw a lot of very old friends and made a lot of new ones too, sold some art, and generally had a sick time. Over all I was impressed how everything went that night regardless of the minor complications and ending up as the only girl exhibiting. Many thank you’s to everyone who came  and supported Sydney local art, and aMBUSH Gallery as well.

So on friday afternoon I hanged out with the boys from Fun Apparel in Sydney, and I got to say what a bunch of super nice dudes. We checked out a Neon Genesis Evangelion art show, couldn’t take photos but I managed to muster some up. We ate awesome ramen and debated about dogs and rats.  It was nice to see what the hell was in Sydney for once.

It was a cool day indeed.

On May 17th I’ll have the pleasure of exhibiting with some of Sydney’s finest creatives at Ambush Gallery. You should come hang out and see some deliciously strange visions from the ether.

Long days at uni, standard days at work, little time for drawing. Its been a quiet couple of months for me. In addition, I have yet to update this old site. Despite this I have a few new illustrations coming up within the month. Heres a sketch I did for a uni assignment. A few good friends that I’ve had the pleasure to know in the longrun of it all. Hopefully they’ll figure out which one they are.

Week after week.

I’ve always been skeptical about clothing brands when it comes to their longevity in the business. Fun Apparel seems to break through that though. They’re a brand that stays true to themselves with a mentality that indeed underlies ‘fun’. The boys whipped up an online magazine presenting various illustrators, graffiti writers, photographers and artists around Australia and the globe, and I’ve had to pleasure to be included as well. Fun times all round.
